Terms of Service

Perkz is a platform that lets creators sell access to digital products: private GitHub repositories, Discord communities, license keys, and file downloads. When a purchase is completed, Perkz grants the buyer the access the seller configured. Perkz facilitates these transactions; it does not own or control the content of the repositories, communities, files, or licenses being sold.

You must provide accurate information when you create an account, keep your credentials secure, and be at least the minimum age required to use online services in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account. Notify us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.

Payments are processed by third-party payment providers — Polar, Stripe, and Lemon Squeezy — whose own terms and policies also apply to your transaction. Prices are shown at checkout; the amount displayed there is what you pay. We do not store full payment card details.

Purchase means you get the access described in the product listing. It does not transfer ownership of any underlying code, content, or community to you.

Perkz grants access (GitHub repository invites, Discord invites, license keys, or downloads) automatically when a payment clears. Access may be revoked — sometimes without prior notice — if:

• a payment is refunded, charged back, or fails;
• we detect fraud or abuse;
• you violate these terms or the terms of GitHub, Discord, or another platform involved;
• your account is suspended or closed;
• the seller or Perkz is required to do so by law or platform policy.

Revocation can include removal of GitHub or Discord access and deactivation of license keys. We aim to act reasonably but are not obligated to give notice in every case, for example where fraud is suspected.

Refunds are handled according to the policies of the payment provider used for the purchase and any refund policy stated at checkout. If a refund is issued, the access it paid for will typically be revoked. For refund questions, email [email protected] before disputing a charge with your card issuer.

You agree not to:

• resell, redistribute, or share access you purchased with people who did not buy it, unless the product you bought explicitly allows it;
• scrape, reverse engineer, or interfere with the Perkz service;
• upload or use the service for anything unlawful, infringing, or harmful;
• violate the terms of GitHub, Discord, or any other platform connected to the service;
• attempt to bypass payment, gain unauthorized access to products, or use the service to defraud others.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, without a refund where the violation caused the termination.

Purchased access often lives on third-party platforms such as GitHub and Discord. Your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms, and access can be affected by actions on those platforms that are outside our control. We are not responsible for the content inside purchased repositories or communities.

The Perkz name, branding, website, and service are owned by Perkz and its licensors. Content delivered through Perkz — repositories, communities, files, and licenses — belongs to its respective owners and is provided to you under the license or permissions the seller grants. Nothing in these terms gives you rights to that content beyond what the seller offers.

Perkz is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or that purchased content will meet your expectations — that is the seller's responsibility.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Perkz is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, where such a limitation is permitted.

You may stop using Perkz and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, if we are required to by law, or if we discontinue the service. Sections that by their nature should survive — such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and liability — remain in effect after termination.

We may update these terms from time to time. Updates are posted on this page. Continued use of the service after an update means you accept the new terms.
